Did Women Have Equal Access to the Bathhouses With the Men?
Women did bathe as well, and we have written sources that indicate that they bathe in a separate area. We do know that Roman women own businesses and they might have been doing some political machinations behind the scenes. I like to imagine so anyway. But we don't really see it in films and TV shows, do we? It's not the women meeting in the bath. It's always the men.
