The California Privacy Protection Agency
The California privacy protection agency goes into effect July 1st. There's a lot of focus on this agency is dedicated to privacy, and I get the sense that they're very excited to start their enforcement powers. So if you don't have your house in order, right, say we went to your lawyer and said, "We just need to update our privacy policy" That could trigger additional fines and regulatory scrutiny. And it's also they have audit capabilities, right? So they could reach out and request an audit of your processes.
