In the days of CDs, a lot of people felt like there was still an opportunity for a quote unquote middle-class artist to be able to thrive. In streaming, it's much tougher to do that because you still need to have millions or in many cases, billions of streams in order to make healthy living. Even touring has a lot of that power law dynamic as well where we see the stats now where Taylor Swift and Beyonce are on track to maybe both having billion dollar tours.
