The Ukraine War Is a Direct Existential Threat to Europe

At the start of the Ukraine war, European countries had differing views on how they should respond. The country's most unreservedly committed to supporting Kiev were the Baltic Republics and Poland. France was more circumspect - there was a feeling that giving weapons to Ukraine would preserve tesculation. Meanwhile, Europe's largest power, Germany, was held back by its strong ties to Russia and its own historical reasons.
