Did Miranda Really Kick the Romans Out of Britain?
How close do you think she really was to kicking the Romans out of Britain how much of a shock did they get? Classical writers suggest that she came very close to doing it but we've talked already about how reliable those might be. Miranda the governor, the Roman governor, staged a tactical retreat didn't he when she advanced on London and St. Albans. He decided not to defend those Roman cities. That's right I mean London was a prime example he said anybody who can come with the legions will save but everybody the old the disabled the children we have to leave. It was a really big decision for him to make.
