There's some discussion about how we might add generics in a backwards compatible way to function so that sort of the type inference all magically works out. I don't think we know whether that's possible yet, but we'reak about it. And if not, then there'll be a set of parallel different packages, or different names within the same package, that will be generic versions of various things like container list and whatever. The more that a twoll need to understand about your gol programme, the more difficult it's going to be to optate.
