Steve is an unemployed english major living with his parents in california. He gets a job at the el paso times, which he cannot find on a map. After two months of sending resumes out to maining daily newspapers while eating cold chicken in my underwear, i get a phone call from the features editor saying he sees something in me. The whole situation feels very illicit, but apparently this is how things are done in the rough and tumble world of daily journalism. Now all i have to do is tell my boss, who hired me a week ago,. She's a short, nervous woman who collects kachina dolls and wears inordinate amounts of turquoise jewellery. I
