The Mysterious Force of Nature in Lightning Strikes
In Boulder, when the sky turned gray and clumped with storm clouds, Phil would be overcome by anxiety. When the storm rolled in, he would call his whole family to make sure they weren't out in it. The thunderous sound of a rolling garbage can could bring to tears for the flash of a strobe light. It's not lost on me that Frankenstein was created with lightning. I don't doubt that lightning changed him. And I just think that we weren't as suited to each other after that.
