The Man of the Century

On August 31st of 1994, Pedro was inexplicably released from prison by an Ecuadorian judge. He then immediately re-arrested as an illegal immigrant before being extradited back to Colombia. Just four years later, in 1998, a team of Colombian psychiatrists convened to analyze Pedro's case and after an indeterminate period of study, declared him legally sane. Unsurprisingly, Pedro soon cut off contact with his parole officer and absconded from the halfway house he was residing at following his release.
