The Four Animals and Four Gospel Writers Bring Back the Presence of God
Mark is the only one who mentions wild beasts right at the opening and you have a voice crying out in the wilderness, John the Baptist. And so the idea of the beasts is the image right that people associate with Jesus. So this imagery of these four gospel writers, the gospel's bring us the presence of God.
