Kate is a best-selling writer of historical fiction and gothic tales. Dreda writes crime fiction, but a very different time from Agatha Christie. Kate's books have titles like Giza Girls and Trap Door. I write psychological thrillers that are set kind of slightly in suburbia. But Miss Marple was my first adult piece of literature that wasn't given to me by a parent or a teacher. And I've been in love with Miss Marple ever since.
