What's the Meaning of Language in Politics?
He makes frequent reference to what might have been if this weren't the kind of way that europe made contact with the rest of the world. And so it seems like he wants to develop a different type of language of how we describe politics and how we describe the possibility of a different social life. So i'll just say real quickly, i see that as the second part of his project. He does want to make the case that colonialism was a wound. It didn't have to be this way. We actually don't even know what these people could have become. But it's worth at least articulating, if coloniasm hadn't happened, these institutions might look very different.
