The Three Wise Men Who Came to Worship Herod

Traditionally, the story teaches that there are three wise men. Most biblical scholars believe that they came from the region of Iran. They were likely with a large company of people and would have required protection along the way. And I believe that the magi in their rejoicing, they found a joy that was beyond themselves.
