Is Hepburn's Body Marked and Shaped by the War?
I was thinking of Marilyn Monroe in Let's Make Love and How Different It Is. The idea is because it's in D'Arela's story, that there's an idea of someone who looks convincing as a kind of foundlage. You see the half-style refugee child in her, but how eagerly she embraces the opportunities that come. And I was also thinking then her shape and those outfits. She somehow automatically fits in like Cinderella transforms from rags to riches.
