The Importance of Ground Truthing

A lot of the stuff that you've talked about, which is absolutely true, we can actually derive from the observations themselves. But as far as results are concerned, we're probably talking a few centimeters in difference in terms of penetration and accuracy. We collect full waveform data, the waveform has so much more information than we have traditionally extracted because we focus purely on seabed. And we're finding that it's got even more information as we start to look at it in terms such as important inputs to how the light performs in the water.
