The Value of a Political Theory That Apologizes for or Accepts Suffering

The same white supremacist, violent imperial capitalist machine that grinds people up and spits them out in the Iraq War is the same machine that kicked in Fred Hampton's door and put bullets in his body. And you can't fight one without fighting the other. I'm sort of hoping I keep having my fingers crossed that we'll see the emergence in Canada and the US of a leftist political movement that is electorally minded. But just the introduction to the explicit political sphere of arguments for universal well-being is indefensible and inexcusable.
