How to Make People Believe Stronger Even When Their Prophecy Fails
Cult leaders have this ability to get people to believe stronger even when their prophecy fails. Joseph Smith understood the psychology of it, maybe not in those terms, but he knew the effect it could have on people. If you like a person or if you like what a person says, then you should never underestimate the strength of the human desire to believe they will believe what is said. My life is living proof to that fact.
