Bad theology is done by reaction. So my mother would not countenance a candle in i in our gathering for worship, because that's what the catholics do. I think both luther and calvin over reacted to the various groups. They've become so sacramental that we need to be anti sacramental. And they've become so obsessed with their saints who do miracles, thatWe need to beanti miracle and pentecostal. Roman catholics did it, it must be bad, so let's just do what they weren't doing enough of,. which was preaching the real word of god. Is that just like a purely crass history, that's not actually true
