The Sound of the Sea - A New Sound Reached Nick

Nick faced the shore and closed his eyes. The sea brought with it a beautiful, salty, fresh smell. He could hear Juno sniffling about beside him. Cliff lined the edge of the beach, a gentle gradient leading up to them from the car park. And Nick noticed a sign for a hidden footpath. For now, they wanted to stay on the sandy banks. No cars, no traffic, no sirens, just the sounds of the waves and seabirds.
