Leaving a Project Away

The boys had some secret projects planned. Most neighborhood kids knew about this route to the stream. Discarded items like soda tabs and empty plastic ice pop sleeves showed it. Jason was standing ontwo rocks straddling the stream. He was constructing a small dam using debris and stones he found near by. Why he wanted to do this was unclear, but the other boys threw themselves into the task,. They worked at this for what seemed like a long time. It was always there when you came back.
