The Attributes of God
The atheist who believes that God does not exist is sincerely seeking God by doing various things to try to find him. Their reasoning goes something like I'm not resistant but if God exists he is the kind of God who would not allow there to be non resistant non belief and so therefore it's more likely that God doesn't exist. "I think what we're trying to capture is this idea rather than one special particular wording does that capture it no," says author David Walliams.
