Peridinal mortality was almost eliminated completely for women who were just above age 35. The researchers couldn't say which of the extra ineventions mattered. Are some women's concerns taken less seriously than others during pregnancy? If so, are there racial and socio economic differences between the two groups that would explain why some women are treated differently?"
