Is It Fashion or Trends?

Many teams seem to imitate whoever wins the Champions League. Can you think of individualistic coaches winning unfashionable formations and tactics? That's an interesting question, isn't it? I suppose that's true. We do seem to see trends, but are they trends for good reasons rather than it is imitating or is it trends? Pressing has been very fashionable and because it's provably successful and teams have integrated it to a greater or lesser degree. When I think of unfashionable football systems that are successful I think Sean does. Am I right Michael Cox? Yeah I guess so I think yeah they play in a slightly different way obviously but uh...
