The Ghost Runner - The Extra Inning Runner

MLC: I have an update in my ongoing campaign to amend dictionary.com to more accurately reflect facts about the extra innings runner that we refer to as the zombie runner. The definition originally of ghost runner at dictionary.com just said a runner who is automatically placed on second base at the beginning of each half of an extra inning before any pitch is thrown. MLC: There's now just the terms for this thing have proliferated, like actual zombies. It seems like Manfred Mann and zombie runner are sort of the leading ones.
