What Is Racism?
The way we've started talking about race is an attempt to recreate notions of class from europe in an american context. In America, you couldn't tell from one look at somebody where they belonged on the social hierarchy. You really cannot walk around a place like washington, d c, new york city, size somebody up by the pigmentation bry ther epidermist and the width of their noses or lips. If i actually operated like that in real life, forget being called a racis. I want to live in a society where the way you look tells me as little as possible about who you are as an individual.
