Using a Physics Engine in a Multiplayer Game

The game design was always about we'll start using this physics stuff but it won't matter right and so I said well what if you make this cool game where the physics actually matters? The answer was 10 megabyte ethernet or something 10 megabit. And my friend ottman who later went to oculus did the entire he wrote a physics engine from scratch to do all this complicated stuff that I was talking about. It would enable a kind of game that you simply cannot do with a client server architecture with a weaker server right in the traditional way.
