The Second Law of Thermodynamics

The second law of thermodynamics says that all open systems should tend to Dissipation. But we interact with the environment precisely to exchange matter, energy and information so that we avoid dissipation. So in that sense, this is a form of adaptation. And this extreme performance is extraordinary because what it lets us see is almost touch those boundaries of what is possible for us from a human point of view.
