"I finished your piece feeling like I had a new appreciation of how difficult and dangerous this work can be," says CNN's John Sutter. "Can we study this? Do we know whether it's effective?" he asks, after reporting on the Baltimore violence interrupter program. The city has lost three people who have been involved in helping to stop violent crime from spreading into other parts of the city.
