The Strangest Experience I've Had in My Life

A 21-year-old male was hiking with a female friend in southern Indiana. They were on the Three Lakes Trail, which is 10 miles long and nearly impossible to get lost. Out of seemingly nowhere, a woman comes walking towards them with her head down. She had tattoos all over her body that didn't make much sense but what caught my eye are her eyes - they were just black sockets.
