Introduction
It's 447 days since Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Just hours after President Zelensky left the UK, Kyiv came under heavy bombardment. At around 2.30 in the morning, air raid sirens started and residents were warned to stay away from their windows. Thunderous explosions began as air defences collided with what officials describe as the maximum number of attack missiles in the shortest period of time.
