The fingerboard is a great way to increase the load tolerance of your fingers. It can also be good for the connective tissues in a strength training phase. When you're doing this kind of finger recruitment training, you're not having any hypertrophy. There's not hardly any muscle stretching, which is the primary mechanism where we get a lot of fatigue and inflammation from our workouts.
