The Complex History of Neoliberalism
In 2020, we saw this huge widespread revolt and mobilization of people coming from different parts of the political spectrum. The response by institutions of liberal capitalism that have really captured, transformed and are sort of really like messing with and reproducing a lot of these discourses was striking. And so what was striking it, you know, is that, to me, was radical anti racism,. There's a long history there leading up to that, that we can trace, but it comes from that tradition. So one form of racism had been substituted for another in neoliberalism.
