How to Diagnose ADHD

Diagnosing ADHD is really simple. It's not how many symptoms of ADHD the child has, it's what their problems are in daily life functioning. There is no test that can evaluate whether or not a child shows those symptoms in the natural environment. Then the question is what treatments should parents be looking for? I always like to start talks like this with a list of treatments that don't work,. things that parents should be avoiding.
