i got really lucky that i, i happened to fall into this as they did a test with me, actually, cal my boy friend as well, and one other girl. They hired three of us from completely different backgrounds that had absolutely no growth experience. Two of us ended up working out. So later on, we were in hiring rolls at top tall, and that's what we looked for is just people who can be malluable,. People who really are scrappy. And then also, especially in a remote work environment, the ability to be really, really kind of self directed. That's been so important in everyone i've hired since.

Steph is a remote growth marketer, writer, and indie maker. She is also a self-taught developer that has built multiple projects, including some that have topped Product Hunt, leading to a nomination for Maker of the Year in 2018. Steph also has a personal blog that has been read by over half a million people, touching on topics including remote work, productivity, and tech. Most recently, she wrote a book, Doing Content Right, that has sold over 3,000 copies.
