The Importance of Intuition in Cosmology

The universe as it presents itself to us is highly improbable, is highly unlikely. The idea that you were once expecting an answer that somehow starts farther back than that is a little crazy. And this connects with what Sean was saying at the end. If it turns out to be one of the fundamental laws of physics that we simply have to posit that the entropy of the universe was initially very low. This gives us a probability distribution to which the world we see is a good fit.
