Do You Have Your Company Name on Your Website?
The first thing I look for is have you said who you are? You don't have to have your physical street address if you work from a home office. If someone's doing a search for someone like you on Google and your site doesn't say Cincinnati, they're not going to show up because Google doesn't know where you are. The third thing is, tell us what you do. Tell us why people are going to take action if it's in their best interest, not yours. And then the fifth one is just an aesthetic: Don't compare your website to other companies' websites.
