Should People Be Defensive?
In the near term, we think dividends are pretty safe for a while. Dividends typically grow with earnings. And dividend payers are generally the strongest balance sheet. But short term, i would remain tactical, because there still is upward pressure on rates. Even though we've moved up so far so fast, as ash mentioned, we still havewere still really below where we were in two thousand 19.
