Introduction
John Markcomber first heard the word 'foody' when he moved to portland. The city is known all over the world as a food city, with many people travelling from other parts of north america just to eat there. He says it comes as no surprise that nearly three quarters of Americans are obese or overweight. A family of four in America spends 15 hundred dollars a year on food that goes right into the trashCan wou have issues of food in justice where foods that are unhealthy for the body and bad for the environment are subsidized by our government,. creating an economy where the poor do not have access to healthy food.
