I imagine a relationship that allows for this kind of growth and awareness to happen because two people are both encouraging it and wanting it. It doesn't require a perfection at all, but just a willingness to be persistent and to keep showing up and doing that work. But the nature of being in relationship is that we're bound to step on each other's toes from time to time.
