Does Brownie in Motion Prove Atoms Exist?
The experiment that helped crack the coat of adams wasn't meant to study atams at all. A botanist, robert brown, got the idea to sprinkle some pollen from the flowers he was studying into a little dish of water. Brown wrote down everything that he had observed and published it. The movement of the pollen grains became known as brownie in motion. But doesbrownie in motion even prove atoms exist? Or does it just prove that like pollen, has a good tempo?
