Jasmine grew up in indanesia and ate a lot of home made food. But when she went back, the dishes were different from what she remembered. For her first cook book, pat hung out with a bunch of grandmothers. She started to realize that our grandparents are not necessarily passing down these ancient, ancestral traditions every time they cook.
