I think that we get I think people get superstitious. Like so true for so many of us is that we don't want that we hold magic beliefs around the idea that this thought that I've had for so long is really important to hang on to because there's comfort and familiarity. And what a what a moment in therapy to hear therapist ask that. Could really kind of jolt someone out of that, that pattern for a second to really reflect on Oh, how is this serving me. How is this thought process contributing to my well being and how is this thought processes deteriorating my well being?
