Y so by the time and between those atime they're in pentecost, i could easily see them desperately wanting to hang on to his promise that i'm going to send another comfort, you're never going to be alone. And at some level they didn't understand that it was much clearer at pentecost, when all the miracle happened and the noise and the

a love, that it says they were devoted to one another before yes, all that. That's what i mean all the pomp and circumstance. I told somebody recently, because she was really trying to come to understand glosalian zenalalia, what we call tongues in scripture. And i said, we can go there and i'll tell you, but i think it, i'll send you some great scholars. However, i want you to notice something before you get to that. I said, notice that it says, when they encountered the holy spirit, they were filled. And i said, focus. Focus more on filling than you do on the the pirat technics for a minute. Do you have satisfaction in your relationship with jesus that comes through the spirit. T spirit's the one who reminds you that you have the right to call the cread of the universe dad. And she as like i'd never really thought about filling and i said, willitswe'll get to the pyrotechnics, but are youd oded? Do you have satisfaction ouricen? Caebin, there's so much more to that second upper room than, of course, the the miracle and the salvations, and them speaking in languages that had come from all the asport. That's amazing. But allie and i didn't even go there. Stay en, they were of one mind. They were devoted to one another in prayer.

Eas, that was lod and unique about christianity. I mean, in the ancient mythologies, you have the gods in inappropriate relationships with humans. But i have feeling you don't have, you never have the picture of a god loves us so much that he wants to come live with us in relationship 24 seven, so that you never have to worry. And so you see that happening. You're right. It's easy to focus on. The i like that pyrotechnic. It has fun and its us ter all f sudden standing up. Ye, just 50 days before he's denying resise yerand now standing up on at logia. Sermon oages, sermon of the ages. O, i like that, right? And that's that continuum, which you can go al back to david and the architect, and you can see this continuum building. And what we have now is a taste. Paul calls it a deposit of what im in. I

like that. I was telling a girl, a young girl in church, jusda, and she was telling me she had really fallen away, and she really wanted to get back. And, and you know how you just see that shame all over me, but yet, this earnest desire to be filled again with christ. And i said, have you ever mailedjust this, could have been, could have ben holy spirit? Could it just been sleep deprivation? But i said, have you ever mailed snail mail? And she was in college, and she looked at me like, what what are you talking i said, in you like where you fold over a letter and you put an envelope and she was likeo wot a ta oh. And she as, yes ma'am. And i said, have you ever folded a piece of paper or a bill? I don't know if you've done that. I said, but have you ever folded it? Hor it's too fat for the envelope, and then you have to refold it. And now i have she was oh, oh, yes. And said, well, as to what happens is, the more you grow in christ, the deeper the correct folds get. You'll come back to christ where it fits. The way as ysa, when you have sin in your life, you go o cried, i said, because you're going to folds that don't work. And i said, the more you sin, the more that becomes the fold you naturally go to. I said, you aren't very folded. I sad you grew up in love with jesus and he's wooing you back, and you're responding. Your folds are going to get deeper. Cause she was afraid she was going to go back to school after the summer and really go wild. And i said, no, your fold, your folds are going to get deeper, and you're going to end up being so folded in jesus that you just don't fit anywhere else.
