Is There a Difference Between Soldiering and Soldiering?

Life wasn't great for soldiers in the 18 hundreds, but things didn't materially change all that much. The punishments got more inventive and it was a very difficult time to be a soldier. I do not envy these people, especially if they were sold this idea of adventure,. But as long as you were on the right side, the winning side, perhaps it would have been better then there than before.
