This is the last podcast that i'll be recording this year from sands fire here in washington. Rob wrote to day's diary about an interesting network problem that he had at a clind and how he identified the rude cause. The initial indication that something went wrong was that, essentially, clines didn't get replies to their d h c p discover messages. Turned out that it was really just a too much traffic going through a particular switch, maxing out to because of a badly conficured, old legacy switch.
