Will 2022 Be a Good Year for American Democracy?
There's been a flurry of such look back slash prediction pieces in the past few weeks as you would expect and it's really striking how a wide range of commentators from very left wing outlets like Jacobin to more center right outlets just such as the bulwark have generally argued that 2022 was a good year for American democracy. What do we think do we agree should we all feel fairly optimistic as all these pieces seem to suggest or well is there something this piece is might be missing?
