The Effects of Fusion on Material

There are three isotopes of hydrogen: proteome, deuterium and tridium. Proteome is less abundant than standard hydrogen but can be found in seawater. There isn't an easy way to produce tridium; it's captured from decaying nuclear fuel. Deuterium gives you a neutron that has 14.1 MeV - more energy than the neutrons we get out of fission reactors.
