The Fed's Role in Inflation
I would love to just kind of explore your thoughts on inflation more. Because some of the conversations I've had is a lot of its supply side driven. So what can the Fed really do about inflation? Can they really solve this or can they just crush demand? What do you think? Well, a few different things. Part of the reason why I say it's going to be volatile is because these dynamics become unstable. First, it's a stack inflationary shock. It's a supply side shock. And then it spills over to labor disputes. Just take the railway here in the US. Those are symptoms that there is a potential push for higher wages that could be inflationary. One
