Do You Think the Fed Has Failed in Providing a Credible Liquidity Backstop?
I think banks have been slow to raise their deposit rates because they've been awash with deposits. The value of a retail bank network today is much greater than it was when interest rates were at zero. Bill, I just want to weigh in as well on the balance sheet. Can you tell me whether, just because the balance sheet is expanded again, whether that means it's the end of QT? How do you think about these things?
