Hollywood movies would make you think that most guy and girl friendships are just relationships waiting to happen. For the most part, if a man is friends with a woman, it means one of two things. He either has no sexual interest in her whatsoever or he's hoping she'll want to sleep with him. And so now that being said, you can absolutely have situations where women are friends with guys first and then date them. It happens all the time in a situation like that. Just tell her how he feels. Not actually terrible advice, but there's a way to do it that was right.
